First Horn - Adele Amplett

Adele comes from a brass banding family. She has been involved in brass bands nearly all of her life and remembers from a young age sitting and watching rehearsals with her parents who played at Jackfield Brass Band.

Adele herself took up the cornet at the age of 12 and since then has played in many brass bands around the country including Cleobury Mortimer Concert Brass on principal cornet, Wrexham Brass and Wellington (Telford) Brass. As a member of Wellington (Telford) Brass Adele was lucky enough to be part of their meteoric rise from the 4th section to the 1st section in 5 years.

Adele is currently studying for a performance degree on cornet at Salford University and switched to tenor horn in the Summer of 2013.
