The Bands held their AGM last week. The main discussion of the evening turned out whether to hold it in the band room or at the pub garden. Hot day but forecast for evening thunderstorm, so tough decision but only one winner.
The Band manager, both MDs and treasurer all gave very positive reports on the year. The bands are performing well, attracting new players and receiving excellent feedback from audiences and adjudicators.
Flixton Band completes its summer programme this Sunday at Coronation Park in Ormskirk before taking a short break for the holiday season.
