The rain just about held off and the band thoroughly enjoyed an afternoon and evening entertaining the crowds and impressing the adjudicators across Saddleworth.
We competed at 6 venues – just enough to be included in the overall placings that are determined by pooling each band’s best six results. We were the second placed band in our section at five of these venues. We were delighted with our consistently high level, reflected by an overall position of 19th out of more than 100 bands that qualified for placings.
