Graham Bond – BBb Bass

September 2021 – Present

Graham learnt to play on the baritone at Bollington Brass Band whilst at primary school. A shift to cornet ensued and continued at secondary school where there was also latterly a spell on the BBb bass.

Other musical activity included being the organist at St John’s Church in Bollington and playing trumpet in a local orchestra. The trumpet remained in action at university in London. 

After a long period of inactivity Graham accompanied sons Richard and Gethin to Flixton Community Band and joined them, picking up the Eb bass. There was a return to the BBb bass a couple of years later.
