The band competed at the Area Championships yesterday on Eric Ball's High Peak. We met in Blackpool for an 11am rehearsal ahead of the afternoon draw. Congratulations to our percussion team: Lesley, Tris, Conor and Ian. They scooped the trophy for Best Percussion in the Championship Section of the Wychavon Festival of Brass. What a week!
On Friday 16th we performed a summer concert at St Clement's Church in Urmston. Despite sweltering conditions the audience were treated to outstanding solos from Vicky Finlay and Richard Bond.
